North Yunderup Growers Group

The NY Growers Group is a group of volunteers focused on the following activities:

  • Seeding up native plants endemic to our area and suitable for planting locally
  • Potting up existing native plants for planting out in the rainy season
  • Planting out native plants along the waterways and in the parks to improve canopy and habitat
  • Selling native plants
  • Weed control throughout the North Yunderup area
  • Community education on dumping of garden waste and the outcomes for native bushland areas

This small and dedicated group is often to be seen in working parties around North Yunderup, planting and weeding. We welcome any new participants with an interest in beautifying and protecting our natural environment.
