North Yunderup Community Hall<\/h1>\n

The Community Hall was constructed in 1955 as a Country Women\u2019s Association (CWA) meeting place on a block of land donated by Dr Pearson. The first branch of the CWA in Yunderup was founded by Mrs Kiersy on Mill Island (now Culeenup Island) in 1934.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Dog Walking<\/h2>\n

    North Yunderup has several areas to walk dogs safely. The river reserve at the east end of Culeenup Road is an off-leash area with two yellow dog waste collection bins with a plentiful supply of compostable collection bags. Kingfisher Park requires dog to be on-leash at all times and also provides walkers with waste collection bins and bags.<\/p>\n

    Local walks<\/h2>\n

    North Yunderup is surrounded by wetlands, including Wilgie Creek and the lakes. Wilgie Creek is accessible to the west of the bridge, through the gate. The length of Wilgie Creek is available to walkers, from the bridge right through to the pump house along walking tracks and river reserve area. The lake area is accessible to the west of the bridge giving walkers magnificent views over the wetland.<\/p>\n

The Book Nook is located on the corner of Culeenup Road and River Glen Drive. The shed is full of books, magazines and videos that you can take and maybe even contribute some of your own for others to share.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Collect up your blister packs and bottle tops that are then sorted and taken to the Boddington Reduce Reuse Recycle (RRR) Centre that diverts recyclable items from landfill. You\u2019ll find the bins beside the Book Nook on the corner of Culeenup Road and River Glen Drive.<\/p>\n

    A collection bin for cans and bottle is located at the boat ramp where North Yunderup Drive meets Culeenup Road. The funds from this are used by the NYCA to put on events throughout the year.<\/span><\/p>\n
